The tool consists of six steps that help care systems to establish robust data governance for integrated care. These steps can be undertaken sequentially to provide an end-to-end solution, or accessed independently to provide guidance and support in specific areas.

Progressing through the tool will provide useful content for Data Protection Impact Assessments and data access applications. The SUDGT also provides an optional input tool where you can record the outputs of the tool as you progress through the steps.
